Disaster Relief Assistance

OnStar Crisis Assist Services

For natural disaster situations

OnStar Crisis Assist services are available to current eligible owners impacted by natural disasters for a limited time.1 By pushing the blue OnStar button, or calling toll-free at 1 (888) 466-7827, specially trained OnStar Advisors can provide you access to emergency services, special routing assistance and data for the available in-vehicle Wi-Fi® Hotspot2 for 30 days to help you stay connected on the go.

1Limited-time offer. Services are not offered in all situations and are provided by OnStar at its sole discretion.
2Service varies with conditions and location. Requires active service plan and paid AT&T® data plan. See onstar.com for details and limitations. Vehicle must be on or in accessory position for Wi-Fi® to function.

OnStar Advisors are ready to help 24/7 during this great time of need with:

  • Coordinating emergency rescue and evacuation services
  • Routing away from danger
  • Directions to available resources like food, water, fuel, shelter and hotel rooms
  • Handling “Good Samaritan” calls to help others impacted
  • Adding data for the available in-vehicle Wi-Fi Hotspot2 (data plans provided by AT&T)

We understand that some customers may still be experiencing financial hardship because of the recent natural disasters. If so, please contact us at 1-800-284-2271 to discuss options regarding your account. For Commercial Vehicle Lending customers, call 1-855-501-5563.

You can view your statement online in MyAccount or in the GM Financial Mobile app. You can also enroll in paperless billing to receive statement notifications via email. If you need to find out your payment due date or the amount owed, message us in MyAccount or call us at 1-800-284-2271. For Commercial Vehicle Lending customers, view your statement in Commercial MyAccount or call 1-855-501-5563.

You can pay your bill through:

  • MyAccount: Pay online or on the GM Financial Mobile app. Paying online with a bank account is free, but debit payments may have a fee. You can also set up recurring payments in MyAccount.
  • Phone: Call us to pay. However, there may be a fee.
  • Mail: You can send a check or money order via mail to pay your bill. View our mail FAQ for the correct address.

Please note that we don’t accept in-person payments at GM Financial locations.

  • Message us from MyAccount - Register for an online account at GMFinancial.com/MyAccount. It’s easy. Once you’re logged in, tap the chat icon and send a secure message directly to a representative to assist you. When you register for MyAccount, you can receive important account updates via email. You can also view your account information, check your due date, pay your bill and much more.
  • Message us from the GM Financial Mobile app - Download our mobile app from the App Store® or Google Play™ store and manage your account or message us just as you would in MyAccount. Commercial Vehicle Lending customers can message us in Commercial MyAccount online.
  • For Commercial Vehicle Lending customers - Call 1-855-501-5563.

If your vehicle has been damaged by a natural disaster, please keep your account current and contact your insurance company to begin the claims process. If your vehicle has been deemed a total loss, please call 1-877-203-5536.

If your current address has recently changed, you can update that information online in MyAccount or in the GM Financial Mobile app. You can also enroll in paperless billing to ensure you have access to your billing information wherever you are. You can also call us at 1-800-284-2271.
